People I work with include:

Adults struggling with intense emotions and psychosomatic experiences, including depression and anxiety.

Individuals going through life transitions.

People seeking a therapist who offers a friendly space for any sexual orientation, gender identity, and those with non-traditional approaches to relationships and sexuality, including multiple partner relationships such as polyamory and other forms of ethical non-monogamy, and people interested in kink.

People struggling with the impact of trauma.

Individuals who have had negative experiences with therapy in the past, or have not sought help out of concern that they will be judged or misunderstood.

Those who prefer a collaborative approach to the therapeutic process.

Therapists seeking clinical consultation and professional development support.

What to Expect in Therapy

Different therapists practice in different ways. This is what you can expect from our time together.

  • A customized approach. I listen to what you need, then adjust my style for each individual. You can expect me to check in with you along the way to see how this is going. I see the work as a collaborative process.

  • An active conversational style. I bring my personality to the work, seeking authentic engagement with my clients. We laugh together as well as facing suffering and challenges head on.

  • To find a welcoming, grounded space that is all yours, with a companion to help you focus on what you need, and listen to your heart.

  • To be met with a thoughtful, responsive, open-minded listener

  • That I will draw attention to patterns in thinking, feeling, and behavior.

If you show up, and do the work, you can expect change. You don’t have to stay in stuck patterns. Old wounds do not have to stay raw today.

Together we can recognize the strengths you have now and engage them so you  live more fully in the present.
